Carolyn Lawing
Notable achievements span outside of the United States for Carolyn. In honor of her great-grandmother, Carolyn and her family members established a Public Library for underprivileged children in Africa. She has also served as an advocate for Religious Freedom in Malawi and Mozambique. Carolyn has served as a Missionary in the United States and Canada where she was instrumental in assisting with training of the Bible.

Carolyn holds a degree in Business/Accounting/Secretarial from Charlotte Business College. She has also attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College for Early Childhood Education and Davie Community College. She is employed at The Clinical Center, Inc with West Counseling, PLLC as Administrative Assistant. Former work 
experience includes educator in the Philadelphia School District and Cabarrus County Schools where she retired from teaching. Prior to retirement, Carolyn demonstrated commitment to the development of youths through her work. As an educator, she worked with the Academically Gifted Students, BEH Students and EC Students.

Additionally, Carolyn has many years of experience in accounting that includes working as Finance Officer for H & R Block and Ark Family Services, Incorporated as well as Accountant for Campbell Real Estate. She has shared her wealth of knowledge by working with youth and young adults by teaching money management skills.​
